East End is the quietest district on Grand Cayman. It has dive resorts, villas, small restaurants and beaches with few people. It is also the farthest part of the island from the airport, which makes pre-booked transport more valuable. There are fewer taxis out here and waiting for one is not a plan.
What we do in East End
- Airport transfers to resorts such as the Wyndham Reef Resort and private villas.
- Dive runs and boat departures. See dive and snorkel transfers.
- Day tours that take in the blowholes, Pedro St. James and Bodden Town.
- Evening runs to town for visitors who want dinner somewhere livelier.
Planning the stay
Allow about an hour from the airport. Bring groceries or ask us to stop on the way, since shops are fewer than on the west side. For longer stays, ask about private driver hire on selected days.
